“Over the past 25+ years, I’ve gone from being a civilian employee to a part-time civilian employee while on active duty, to a veteran employee in the civilian workforce and each time I encountered the same or very similar challenges. Many of these challenges I didn’t realize existed until I became veteran in that same workforce.”
Bridgette Austin has taken her previous experiences in civilian employment to include 5 years of Human Resources experience in onboarding, staffing, recruitment, and HR information systems analytics and applied them as a Professional Consultant, Career Transition Coach and subject matter expert in all aspects of veteran transition preparation and re-integration to the Civilian Workforce. Her 23 years of honorable U.S. Naval Service as a leader and manager of programs and processes combined with her cross communication and counseling skills culminate in the tools needed to aid in the veteran re-integration process for staff development, and strategic planning. She earned her B.S. Degree in Administration Management from Excelsior College and is currently pursuing her Masters of Business Degree as a Graduate Student at the University of Southern California.
Bridgette serves on the Board of Directors for US4Warriors as an advisor and advocate supporting the efforts of transitioning veterans ensuring adequate placement keeping veterans from being slotted into jobs that don’t leverage their technical and leadership skills and providing employers with a return on their investment beyond the 90-day probation.

BAC is partnered with various non-profit organizations to include the Veteran Chamber of Commerce, HireGI, Psych Armor and American Corporate Partners to ensure once hired, Veterans can shift from the military mindset and adapt to corporate culture more quickly and smoothly ensuring employers understand that by hiring and growing veteran employees, they’ll be developing a strong business case for creating a viable veteran hiring initiative.
